A Shoe Full

An old laced shoe is the focus of this assemblage. Wooden type letters spell out "A Shoe Full" and a large antique funnel is filled with vintage children. Others are climbing down red yarn and some are sitting on the words. Strips of old fabric with stars as a design are fastened to the red base. Oil crayons, acrylics and ink pads were used to age the items and a wooden tube supports the shoe.

Mechanical Man, In Control

At a flea market I bought two small wooden dolls and a box of clock parts. Tom came up with this idea one day and I added paint and inks.
